St. Francis’s Prayer
All-highest, glorious God,
Cast your light into the darkness of my heart.
Give me true faith,
Firm hope,
Perfect charity,
And profound humility
With wisdom and perception.
O Lord,
So that I may do what is truly your holy will. Amen.
**********************************************
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred,
Let me sow love;
Where there is injury;
Pardon.
Where there is error;
Truth.
Where there is doubt;
Faith.
Where there is despair;
Hope.
Where there is darkness;
Light.
Where there is sadness;
Joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not seek so much
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

This prayer is actually used often in AA community. Somebody mentioned it a while ago and I didn't know what it was, so I looked online. There was an interesting background story, so I might research that some more!
I'm feeling better today! It's gross, but my mucs seems to be breaking up more easily now. That's a definate sign of the cold being in its final stage. Yay!
